About Us
The purpose and objectives
of this organization are:
- To promote
charitable activities within Rains, Wood and surrounding counties,
- To provide
support to the local school districts,
- To assist our support organizations for the betterment of the citizens in Rains and surrounding counties,
- To provide
assistance, supplies, funding and labor to other organizations whose missions are the above mentioned actions.
Our group meets the 1st Thursday of each month, at varying locations depending on the program. We dine out or have pot-luck luncheons which include informative speakers, updates on our charitable events and fellowship. Annual membership dues are $12.00 and should be paid to the designated membership officer within the first three months of the new year. Membership dues for new members joining the group after January will be $1.00 per month for the remaining months of the year.
The meeting places and times will be published in the Rains County Leader prior to the meeting. E-mails will also be sent to the membership with the details of the meetings and any other activities scheduled during the month.
