HAPPY NEW YEAR
Merry Christmas from The Stinson House
Our Annual Year-End Officer Installation and Christmas celebration was held at the Stinson House in the Quitman Historic Park. An Ugly-Sweater contest was a definite hit of the day.
Each year LCN plays Santa to the children in the Rains County Court Appointed Special Advocate system.
Fall Fashion Fling
Did someone say shopping? Members and women of the community had the opportunity to have a light lunch and browse through women's fashions and accessories. Just in time for that early Christmas gift purchasing.
Kick Back, Relax, andBingo
LCN Members and Friends had a great time playing bingo and enjoying a pot-luck luncheon of salads and desserts.

Stinson House Lunch and Tour
Georgia McLain and Yolie Robledo hosted the group at the Stinson House on June 4th. The lunch was delicious and the tour very informative about the Stinson and Hogg families.
The 2015 Alba-Golden, Rains, and Yantis ISD scholarship recipients and their parents were treated to a reception at the Emory Baptist Church. A light meal was served. This year, we increased the dollar amount of each scholarship to $1500 minimum which reduced the number of recipients, but increased the value of the scholarships for the recipients.
